Welcome to PutThingsRight.org.uk
Welcome to our new website. Put Things Right is a group of people that are committed to improving the quantity, quality and relevance of cycle safety lessons in schools, promotion of the importance and legalisation of wearing bike helmets and to the campaigning for reduced speed limits and improved safety measures at dangerous locations in the community of Hucknall, Linby & Papplewick.
...Why now?
Our group formed in Summer 2012 following the death of 15 year old Harrison Carlin when he was hit whilst riding his bike in the village of Papplewick. Only a matter of weeks later, and less than two miles away, Jeff Townley, 12, was also killed whilst riding his bike in the town of Hucknall. The Put Things Right group aims to do everything within their power to reduce the risk of more young people in our community losing their lives on local roads.
